I'm feeling particularly geeky today.

The nature of bariatric surgery. Some days I'm very energetic, others completely lethargic. Today has been the lowest energy day to date.

One of the problems is that the protean supplements have gone from tolerable to revolting. The cheery "Tastes great" on the packaging is a lie! Just because the lab rats couldn't stop eating the stuff...

So I get to work very late, and my boss pounces on me nearly instantaneously. Less than a minute in to the conversation it goes from "What have you been doing, where are you, etc..." to "Do what you can to keep from falling further behind". It could have been much worse.

Thinking it was lack of food, I head out to the local Asian market (Uwajimaya) to grab something I can eat; I'm thinking Miso soup.

Rule of thumb, don't buy dairy products in the Asian market. Their selection is small and they needed to do a price check.

The miso soup I bought was imported from Japan. Unfortunately, the instructions were in Japanese as was the rest of the packaging. Kindly, they had instructions in English on their website (and I would have guessed correctly, instant miso soup is very easy to make).

And here I thought I would need to run their website through an online translator.
